A little side note, I finally got my request done, mind you that if you try it, turn off automatic translation from Chinese to home language, and then the request gets send. So only with the page in full Chinese, it the request got through.

if this works, then problem is mostly solved. if a multi language rom can be installed with sp flash, then the "lets-frag-the-idots-with-a-bootloader-lock-to-piss-everybody-off" is no longer a big problem. if you can test @feds64 then surely lets us know asap. ;)

You need twrp to install the weekly xiaomi.eu version. You can enter any xiaomi account on the device afterwards. You just need your "special" account to unlock the bootloader, all the rest once unlocked is as you wish to use it.

the update.zip root file does not work on all the latest updates, so don't update or don't root. it sucks big time. this together with the locked bootloader on the redmi note 3 are a serious problem. i'm starting to loose my faith in Xaiomi. From big fan to s**t can.
