It's even enough just click on menu button in navigation bar to see the opened apps in ram and then go back to the app. Toggle switched back.

@yannis_Gr It's switching back immediately to active. Same when I try to disable GPS in notifications app. It's also switching back. Never heard of this Xiaomi app before but since I switched from stable to beta I always getting notification on app if i want to allow clipboard.

@Igor Eisberg Could you take a look on that? Right now with this bug, using dual apps is very restricted and limited or even unusable.

So do you have any kind of solution or received a hint what the developers here have to solve?

Maybe it is because "old" Google pay app is set in the standard pay app?

Bug is still existing and workaround doesn't work sometimes at all. Developers can you have a look at it?

Solution or better say workaround of this bug is: Settings - Connect and share - mobile payment - set standard to accept payment when another app is open. AND Open Google wallet app before start the payment process.

Ok got it but at the end the exact same issue because wallet app is switching to the other Google account without payment. One thing I found out: it's not really Google wallet app which opens and shows 2nd Google account (or 1st account in your example), but it seems to be the Xiaomi payment...
