There is a new version on sourceforge: 8.5.4. This version passes Safetynet and Google verification again and is much more smoother then 8.4.28.

There is always a global rom (_V9.5.4.0.ODGMIFA) but its a little bit tricky to install and this dont pass safetynet and google too.

The rom is the problem not the unlocked bootloader. 8.4.28 passes safetynet and is google certified but not the 8.4.12. Dont ask me why, have the same problem with other app on 8.4.12. But dont flash 8.4.28, you wont be happy with this very!! laggy version.

For the Mi Mix 2s and version 8.4.28: Yes, both true but version 8.4.12 dont pass safetynet and not certified in playstore But 8.4.28 is not realy useable, its sooo laggy that i downgrade to 8.4.12. Hope for a new one with smoothness of 8.4.12 and passes from 8.4.28 ;)

Stock gapps? I read in other forum, that flashing stock gapps will overwrite miui camera app and must reflash rom to get camera back. True?

@garfi, so the 8.4.12 is smoother then the new one? Then i also would flash the older one. Which gapps package did you flash on the 8.4.12?

@mouse100, look at the sourceforge link, in upper left corner is the link, not in the list. The 04.28 is very laggy :( I doesnt feel like an SD 845, my Mi Note 4 with 625 is smoother. @cascade128 , i dont have problem with sim 2 but for sim 2 is no apn setting entry so you cant change settings...

OK, wipe doenst solve missing apn settings for sim 2 and wifi standby settings. Thanx for clarification about playstore and faceid. But i wonder that google app is present but no playstore. Ok, is not a big thing to install it later. Will face unlock be missing in every weekly rom here?

@zmaydk, thanx very much! Got my 2s today (China Stable Rom) and was disappointed, that Volte was greyed out. After your tip, Volte is working now :) Phantastic. The only thing: its show now "HD" in statusbar not "Volte" but thats no problem for me. And this is also working on Mi Mix 2s :)

And why you dont help other people and tell us, how you solved it??

Is bluetooth disconnect at 7.6.8 fixed in this update?

Note 4 Snapdragon: Bluetooth issue, disconnect every few seconds, playing music not possible ( JVC Car radio) Safetynet dismatch, cant use my banking app. When this was fixed,a great rom.

But not the Play Store "waiting for wifi" problem, many ZTE user have also the problem under Android 7.

i dont have the option to uninstall :(
