Seems exFAT support doesn't work for either Sandisk cards, or 64GB cards. Can anyone with a 64GB card try formatting to exFAT and check if the system prompts that card is corrupted and wants to reformat it? On a 32GB cards I tried, it worked, but not on 64. Here's a thread of the issue...

Re-enable Documents app under Settings - Installed Applications, then try accessing storage again and grant rights.

You have a larger screen resolution, seems they didn't test it much on HD screen devices.

Yes, I can also set it to 480x800. But that's no reason to limit the bitrate.

Seems to be a bug then, I'll see in the coming weeks how will MIUI work on this.

Update went fine, Android Security patch level 2017-02-01 now on land. Screen recorder does work, although the quality is really bad compared to AZ Screen recorder (doesn't need root). Max bitrate is 1Mbps.

Odd that the screenrecorder was skipped in the Global beta. Does it work fine?

Flash from TWRP, it wont get deleted. If you have a problem with this behaviour, post a request on official MIUI forum.

Is the inclusion of Camera2 API made by MIUI devs or xiaomi.eu? Also is this a change based on N ROMs or are they including all devices eventually ?

Update went without issues, Android Security level is still on 2017-01-01 though, odd they don't include it the same for all devices. Unless the fixes are for the Nougat base.

Did you read the 2nd post ? The bootloader is being relocked because of change from L to N on those devices. So no, 3S/3X are fine. Rule of a thumb - Nougat is considered a work in progress, therefore if anyone wants a stable device, go flash stable.

About what ? Everything is normal. The uproar about battery drain is from people on Nougat.

If you want stock Android, buy a phone with stock Android, like a Pixel.

Based that you don't have the bootloader unlocked, you're kinda dead in the water. You can save the phone with EDL flash, but data will be gone. This is a good learning point how backup strategies are important.
