I suspect that backup is screwing up my contacts. Every few days part of my contacts disappear, and later they synchronize in Google. So I need to go to contacts dot Google dot com to revert to my contacts from the day before. It has already happened more than 20 times.

I am using the latest weekly as a daily basis. So far, I can use the phone with a few issues that do not affect the daily activities (admin apps loose the permissions).

It's been only two calls out of 20-30. However, I found it strange that it would happen. The call started fine, but at one point, the scramble would take place (both sides would hear the scrambled audio) and the call would not recover. It could also be the line provider (Movistar España), tho.

I got two calls, with different people that got scrabbled. May this be an issue with the ROM for the Mi Mix2s?

Sure, I agree. I meant that when it happened to me, I though the reboot may be wiping the cache, because it takes as long as the first boot.

Try doing a factory reset. This worked for me and I guess it is not a possibility (as stated in the first post), but something we must do. Afterwards, MIUI 10 will load in less than 5 minutes
