    There's a thread about that in Bugs section, Igor asked to send logcat while trying to open eSIM menu. Do it if you can, then it may be fixed in next update.

    It shouldn't matter. Page on Community checks age of Xiaomi Account (not Community account), so it wouldn't allow to apply for unlocking permissions, if the account exists for less than 30 days...

    There's no way to include it in ROMs as Fastboot doesn't know anything about phone variant. You must do it manually after every update.
