if anyone is having battery issues with 3.5.17 , i would suggest them to flash Siyah Kernel v6.0b5 which is turning out to be best for me ;)

I think MIUI's base should be XWLSS 4.1.2 ROM and it will work flawlessly .. The best rom i have experienced is NeatROM Lite v4.7 which is based on XWLSS 4.1.2 stock rom :) Yes i will come back to MIUI as i really love the look and feel of it .. but i am waiting for the new update tomorrow and...

I cannot trust MIUI rom anymore :( so moving to CM10.1 , just to check the difference :) and will go back to NeatROM once i test CM10.1 :( I guess i will wait for a new update and check that :(

Nah dude , 18 Hours battery life , 2-3hours screen on time , 1-2hours voice calls and texts , with FB , Twitter , whatsapp & viber running in the background all the time .. with some games as well :P

If i am on NeatROM (Stock Sammy 4.1.2) i can easily get 18 hours battery time with FB, Twitter , WhatsApp , Viber , wifi 100% , data 100% .. so its ofcourse battery issues with this ROM :P
