Why not? After installing a new Rom it's sometimes recommended to re-calibrate the battery by draining and full charging it. Problem resolved though, just tried a different cable and charger which sorted it for me.

Thanks mate :) I did try a different charger which relieved my problem. The original charger would make the LED stay on red but wouldn't turn on or anything. With another charger it was flashing the red LED so I decided to leave it for a bit, and I was able to turn on my phone again :)

Just resolved my problem. Trying out a few chargers and cables ended up getting my phone back to function again.

Do you have any comparisons with battery life? I always found myself finding better results whilst maintaining the productivity and fluidity of the plain releases. And as for vsync - good for benchmarking, but for normal use it'll throb your battery much quicker.

Worked for me the first time I installed v5; experienced random mass battery drops and unusually fast battery drain. After doing a deplete recharge everything went to normal.

Let the phone drain to 0% and full charge the phone while it is off.
