That's nothing new, seen complaints from a few users long before HyperOS 2. We don't get internal information from Google on how their AR works. It's an online Xiaomi service, nothing to do with the ROM.

They indeed removed that option intentionally, not sure why but has to do with some other roles long-pressing the Menu button has.

I think I was very clear in my reply, I'll repeat: We are not interested in supporting devices that are exclusive to one or two countries. This is Xiaomi.eu, not Xiaomi.in. We try to support Indian variants of devices, but we have no intention of supporting India-exclusive devices.

Because if the device has init_boot.img, you need to patch that instead of boot.img.
