Hmm - I don't see a fuse mount at your side ... could that be the source of the changed permissions? I'm really wondering what chaused that change of permissions ... :confused:o_O

Well I use ES Explorer which should have the same possibilities I hope. It shows me that the permissions are already set as you indicated above ... this is the output from my adb shell shell@aries:/ $ su root@aries:/ # cd /mnt/ root@aries:/mnt # ll drwxr-xr-x root system...

I'm on CM11 having the same problem that I can't write on the sd-card anymore. Trying your commands on the built-in terminal or via "adb shell" I get that error message: Unable to chown /mnt/media_rw/sdcard0/: Read-only file system Any idea how to solve that?

And I have no idea what caused it and how to fix it :-/ I posted already a thread at the xda forums (http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-2/help/sudden-sdcard0-read-t2953122) but didn't get an answer yet. Not sure where to ask as well ... ;-) I hope someone can help me at least starting to...

It happens also with {e,g}mail, SMS messaging apps & WhatsApp ... what's left if I uninstall all of it?

It would be good to know which settings create issues ... or simply not use it at all ;-)

Thank you! So that means updating to the next nightly (I guess tomorrow?) *will* update CWM this time so it means I have to reboot into recovery.

Just for my understanding: the nightlies will have everything included in the snapshot *plus* all new developments?

Will the automatic CWM update in CM11 nightly also work? (It didn't work until now despite the settings enabled) And does that mean that I have to reboot into recovery after every OTA update in CM to make sure that everything is fine? Sent from my MI 2S using Tapatalk
