Geez what an intelligent response that is :-D I had the same problem but not only with chrome but with a lot of Google apps. Definitely something to look into ... I personally resolved it by doing a factory reset - never had done that and it was about time ;-)

Yes - unfortunately the same here :-/ But I both restart and use themes that often ....

Deleting the data of the themes app solved it for me ...

The second problem might occur due to your impatience ... ;-) It takes quite some time (>30min) for the update process to finish. Perhaps you just don't wait long enough? :grin:

Guys how about pastebin? My screen has already some scratchings from scrolling through all your logfiles ... ;-)

Continuing my quest I found the solution myself ;-) Open the themes app, select the theme you want to remove and scroll down ... there you'll find a big red button called "DELETE" :-D B-)

I bring that old thread again since the themes app is missing the dustbin nowadays and the file structure of - > MIUI -> themes is quite confusing to me :-[ How do you remove unused themes?

I meant to have read that this app is only available for MI2 devices ...

Well I was pondering about that as well but I wanted to stay with the weekly updates and not start to test a lot of ROMS that are available out there ... ;-) And don't I have to reinstall CWM every time I update the weekly ROMS?

Well after writing this post I was fast enough to enter the Updater app and choose 'Boot to Recovery' ... back to 3.9.6 B-) I guess I have to live with more battery drain then ...

Hi, this morning I decided to go back to my older weekly ROM (3.8.30) since 3.9.6 was draining my battery more. So I went into the Updater.app and chose 'Reboot to Recovery' ... being in Recovery mode I chose the older ROM on System One and rebooted. I got the 'Optimizing apps' message and all...
