The gap on my mi 11 pro only completly disappear when i set this three points - dpi to 374 , display resolution to FHD and fullscreen dispay -

So i have done on my 11pro ( in fastboot, fastboot boot twrp.img ) . It was only one time necessary to boot again into twrp and the installation of the rom was fine -
