    You can test it here if its being shown as global https://www.mi.com/global/verify#/en/tab/imei and https://www.mi.com/global/verify#/en/tab/secur it should be fine to go on global version though, sadly theres no way to download a TKLZAVC ROM

    Of course root is getting removed when you update, you have to re root every time, twrp is also removed by design from the roms because it apparently caused issues. Define overwritten the partition when it wasn't supposed to, which one was supposedly overwritten?
