MIUI 12.0 MIUI 12 STABLE RELEASE

Cool! I found this method (not the apps) in Didgeridoohan's Magisk instructions and added an instructions guide like this in my language [here] some weeks ago (: never thought that I should write an english version (I have a bit older english instructions for Magisk on Telegra.ph (Magisk 101)...

MIUI 12.0 MIUI 12 STABLE RELEASE

It'simple - many apps are NOT using SafetyNet but only looking for traces of Magisk specifically and clues -direct or indirect- of having an unlocked bootloader and having a custom recovery installed (*couhg-cough* having a TWRP dir in the internal storage.. *couhg-cough*), being rooted somehow...

No Widevine L1 on latest A11 Stable 12.0.4 EU?

There's no "Fingerprint Payments" option in Xiaomi.EU V12.0.4.0 for Joyeuse. That's the problem.

[GUIDE] How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Redmi Note 9S / 9 Pro

I didn't ever touch that menu (Settings - Security - Google Play System update) so I just went to check the date and it said 2021-Aug-01.. but all of a sudden.. While checking the menu phone rebooted in front of me XD Nice.. Date is now 1-Feb-2021 so let's just wait for Xiaomi to release MIXM...

[GUIDE] How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Redmi Note 9S / 9 Pro

Strange issue indeed, it seems that systemui stops.. I've been told that it's caused by Magisk but I reinstalled that phone without Magisk which has this issue but sometimes this soft reboot is still happening from time to time. For reference for everyone - this is what happens (at least with...

[GUIDE] How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Redmi Note 9S / 9 Pro

I experienced #2 on some Joyeuse devices, too (no Magisk, no nothing - bare Xiaomi.EU ROM install).

No Widevine L1 on latest A11 Stable 12.0.4 EU?

What's your "original" ROM? Mine was EUXM and the latest Xiaomi.EU (which is 12.0.4.0 at the moment (&& no root)) runs at L1.

    help updating miui

Never was - it's based on the global one (normally it would be based on the chinese one but joyeuse has no chinese variant).

MIUI 12.0 MIUI 12 STABLE RELEASE

Looks like the answer to the weird restarts is really "don't use Magisk".. my Joyeuse does exactly the same when Magisk v23 is in use.. boots, waits like 20..30 sec and the black-screen-white-circle comes, then it goes, Redmi logo comes and MIUI logo appears, restarting into MIUI again and then...

Where to download latest stable ROM for MIDO?

Mido never got MIUI 11 officially from Xiaomi.EU team, development stopped at MIUI 10 more than 2 years ago in 3rd Jan 2019 for dev. ROM (last dev. came out in Dec. 2018 and they made one final dev. ROM from that one) and 16th March for stable ROM as well, it's completely EOL for 2+ years now...

    MIUI 8 won't update

Ehrrm.. newly bought phone? This phone has been released in early 2017.. are you sure that it's new? Are you sure that it is a Mido (Snapdragon SoC, 8 cores) and not a Nikel (MTK SoC, 10 cores) and has some "WebShop" ROM? Check what is the phone type and look for a ROM that matches your device.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 suporta micro HDMI ou MHL ?

The answer is: the mido does not support HDMI / MHL at all. Period. End of story. However.. If you ever had a PC connected to the phone via ADB and already gave ADB permission to that PC then you can use [this tool] and you can control the phone from a PC, you can see what would you see on the...

EOL for Xiaomi.EU ROM for MIDO. What to do? Go for global stock rom?

If you care about the Android security patch level I advise you to move to some LOS or AOSP based custom ROM since Mido is really EOL.. there are ported MIUI ROMs based on other phone's ROM (with the same or nearly the same hardware) but all have some issues here and there (since originally they...
