Hongmi 1S no no update trough recovery
I think MIUI refers to the phone's internal storage as the 'SD card', so you would have to copy update.zip there, and then it will work.- midore

Redmi 1S Linux driver?
Anyone knows how to access the HM 1S WCDMA from linux? As a photo device it works after installing mtpfs, it is seen as idVendor=2717, idProduct=1210 and I can access the DCIM and Pictures folders on the phone; However, as a file device, it is seen as idVendor=2717, idProduct=1260 but I don't...- midore
