So you didn t have installed the TWRP yet. Use .IMG recovery from recovery image-> flashify file menager. I cant say more..

Vol up+power= recovery Vol down+power=fastboot

Do you have unlock the bootloader? If yes now you have to unlock root permission with the miui's Security app. Then with flashify flash the xiaomi.eu TWRP .ISO file ( unzip your model TWRP.zip)

Solved with flashify: It didn t like miui file menager and .zip file. Solved with .ISO TWRP and flashify file menager.

i think i have a partition problem

done all wipe dalvik cache data and system

i had a mi4 with mirecovery and xiaomi.eu 5.10.xx i installed by update for 2 times famous 5.12.17 all ok i installed twrp cancro "process failure" at 99% i entered inside mirecovery and tryed to load the partition2 FASTBOOT mode. Now i can fastboot or enter in TWRP (0.o) if i try to reinstall...
