Switch to custom rom if you want updates. Deal with it. I'm xiaomi.eu user many years, have 3 Xiaomi phones...but sadly, there's support only about 2 years for those mid range phones. Luckuly, custom support is awesome for our phone, and I don't wanna sold my yet.

RN5 Pro 4/64 lags as hell after update. And there is error when try to flash HAL3_ENABLE zip file for *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* (which works in every update from almost year ago)... I started to think that this is it - time for some less heavy rom (Lineage, Havoc or whatever), or new phone.

On RN5 Pro only problem from first version MIUI 12 is lag. Every else is fine. Maybe is old hardware, or just something that will be fixed on next builds. But it's ok, no complains

Yes. Find file HAL3_ENABLE_MIUI_PIE.zip I downloaded it few months ago on some XDA thread, and try to add here, but it says "The uploaded file does not have an allowed extension" Flash rom, then that file, and that's it. I do that all the time, from day that my device (Redmi Note 5 Pro)...

Redmi Note 5 Pro - can't recording with default Camera app. Everything else works just fine.

Finally sold stupid RN2!!!! Let's celebrate!

Every new version brings huge battery drain on RN2. This is f***ing insane! I did clean install, man brightness, 2g network...I'm just mad at myself becouse didn't buy Lenovo K3 Note when I planed. P.S. Battery is at 68% after this typing!

On Redmi Note 2 every update brings huge battery drain with 3g network on. I want to sell this phone just becouse of that. Besides of that, everything seems fine. But not enough.

I have that problem too. First charging after update to last dev takes way too long. I unplug cable from phone and try again, then it was ok.

Battery charging is sooooooo slow!!!
