As far as I can see, no redmi note 2 beta this week. Which is good, because battery life on WiFi is befuddling me and I want to test it further: 2 hours gaming and still 50% left, must be a bug! (Battery life on mobile data is still terrible, though xD)

That's what I thought. Weeks of "stability tests" to make us think they're looking into the issue, and then another useless update. For a moment I felt I was the only one not seeing a difference. It's actually draining faster than before.

Any idea what's the real changelog for redmi note 2, after weeks without updates and stability tests?

There have been other devices launched with X10, and some of those had the source code released. This isn't Mediatek's problem, it's Xiaomi's. From not optimizing the software for the device (and not solving the battery issue after so many complaints all over), to not upgrading android or...

Apologies if my question is answered somewhere in the previous pages of this thread, but I didn't read them all. What "stability issues" are preventing Redmi Note 2 from getting the update? Anyone knows? Everyone knows RN2 has a battery issue, along with the "being forgotten by Xiaomi" issue...

How I wish my RN2 reached 5h SoT... most I get is 3h :/ Anyway, so far no problems on RN2 Prime here.

lol! That's Xiaomi's answer to recent accusations? Instead of trying to demonstrate the app is safe and secure, they remove it, thus proving it was actually malware and no one was supposed to find it. Sad.

Installed on Redmi Note 2 Prime: - SuperSU app disappeared. Flashing SuperSU again didn't make the icon reappear; installing it from the Playstore made it appear as a cloned app. Weird. Solved itself after turning off the cloning option and deleting the icon. - Notification LED only lights up...

According to what I saw, they implemented some "freezing" function for a "battery save" mode. I have no idea how that'll work, but I expect more work on the battery issue. The question that's pending on my mind right now is: is anyone a beta tester? Will we have a xiaomi.eu "beta test" version...
