I didn't have issues with LOS, actually the GPS was perfect. On MIUI it still goes off very briefly sometimes, I should try changing the GPS.conf file and see what happens to provide more data.

Thanks for the new rom, but the GPS on Redmi3 still doesn't work properly in Italy and I have to use TopNTP in order to fix it.

I partially agree, at least 75% of tv programs are crap. But there's something worth watching. And besides, sometimes we just need to lower/raise the volume, the phone comes handy :)

Beside the useful calculator, also the Mi Remote app disappeared. That was even more useful than calculator, it saved my lazy bum several times for searching the tv remote while sitting on the couch :D

As some others said, just request for the unlock code (it takes 1-2 weeks) and then you are free to do anything.

I updated twrp via twrp and had no issue at all. Now that you mention dm-verity, I missed that setting so it's on its default on my R3 (and I don't know if default is active or disabled)

Most tutorials leave out that after flashing TWRP, you also have to use the command "fastboot boot twrp.img" (or whatever name you used for the recovery .img file), since manually rebooting to recovery won't work - at least it didn't for me and for many others.
