    Should the TWRP image not be flashed to the device or is it okay to flash it to the device? I have been Googling but came up with no answer.

    With this one, turn off the set and switch it to fastboot mode then click install driver from the unlock tool after you plug in the phone.

    You might try turning off MIUI optimization in Dev options.

    How about your speaker phone? Are you getting the distortion and reverberating sounds from your speaker phone?

    Bug in the speaker phone for redmi note 4X. Repeatability 100% sound goes through perfect for the listener but when sound goes out there's loads of reverberating sounds for the speaker.

    They aren't going to put out an Android 7 build for mtk. They can't even fix the battery drain/battery bugs. :-( I will give another manufacturer my business next time. And for sure I won't do mtk based devices again...

    The battery on the redmi note 4 mtk is bugged. I charge it to full and then unplug it and it drops to 95% in 3 minutes. What gives? This is a mess.

    Lollipop is so bad I would be happy if Xiaomi would release any other os version for the device. Jelly Bean, Kitkat Marshmallow, something.
