Friend of mine is using MI5 ... He has the problem, that his phone/sim can't find a singnal anymore. this is since last weeks update, and also this week did not help. He/we tried to flash older ROM, new ROM, this ROM ... Reset of phone ... flashed back to Global Stable, back to xiaomi.eu ...

running since 3 days on my Mi5 .. no problems yet. btw, it's sooooo f*cking fast! awesome ROM-upgrade from MIUI 8 to 9

can I flash this ROM-version also via Linux? I know that it works with the offical from miui.com ... but not sure if xiaomi.eu is also working thx in advance

I thought it is only possible from the weekly updates to upgrade without loosing data/settings. Could I also flash from a stable rom to a weekly updated rom without setting up the phone completty new?

Hello, is there anywhere on Youtube/etc. a good and detailed Video how to upgrade for example from Xiaomi Global to xiaomi.eu custom ROM? I did it last time 9 months ago, and I have no idea how I solved it from the beginning till the end. Because you always need a new/old ADB, new recovery...

Hmm, I'm on MIUI 7.4 by xiaomi.eu 6.5.30 I want to update now to the newest ROM. What I understood is, that I'll have first to flash to 6.11.10 latest Android 6. my TWRP is 3.2.0 from gemini @ the moment. Can someone tell me if I have to update the TWRP before flashing 6.11.10? And will it be...

OK, so just Updater-App - on the right up (install from SD-card) and you are sure nothing will get lost? (Installed Apps, WhatsApp conversations, pictures, contacts etc.?) I just want to get sure everything stays the same, just the ROM changes.

Is it possible to update it from Miui7 (xiaomi.eu ROM) to Miui8 (to this ROM) via TWRP (wiping Cache/Dalvik) without loosing Apps/settings/pictures etc.?

after a looooooooooooong time of trying i finally made it to update to miui 8 ... i fixed to enter into twrp very quick but did not manage to wipe/install for I think 3h :D

ffs actually it worked, but when I entered into TWRP it asked me for a password and nothing seems work so my data is encrypted and I cant do nothing :( why allways me?
