for this u need to get the digital drivers signature disabled in windows 10 and use qualcomm drivers and this method to get adb devices going, that is whn it will work

yes you can flash it and u can also use EDL method to flash too ... tried and tested on my mi5 with locked BL and installed stable rom's too using images file. else with R FLash u need zip files, but before this you should ensure your device is detected in adb devices ( else its of no use ) ...

Use mi manager app on system, shift + combo... Search forum... For same and edl works fine too.. before proceeding chk fastboot devices if it detects ur device

Ok flash a china dev rom using miflash tool miui 7 and then try to get the twrp frm thr.. Chk if ur system whn connected to fastboot detects the device U have not installed the recovery properly

Well u try a clean flash all now, and note first boot up takes 10-20mins u got to wait.. Do not reboot again in middle..

First connect with ur mi acct using ur phone number on ur phone. Then use a vpn desktop application only and connect to Internet using usa or china servers. Login to mi unlock tool now with same phone number used to login to ur phone. Whn u fastboot n connect to system now try again. Here...
