Have you have the USB debugging set to "ON" in the Developer Options! IF not then do it! Also you need to click on USB for charging from the notifications panel and select Transfer Files (MTP)

Please quote the error you are getting! If it is Status 7 Error, then you need to wipe everything (data/dalvik and cache) and then REBOOT TWRP recovery and then install the zip file!

Have you tried flashing it with TWRP instead of the updater app! If not then do try! And also you might have to completely wipe data, cache, dalvik and system before installing! DO TAKE A BACKUP BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!

Yes you can! Even using the updater app you can do that!

This step is needed if previously you have not done a single update to any marshmallow rom! If you have already migrated to 5.12.xx from 5.12.17, then don't do this! It might brick your phone if the marshmallow partitions are already created and then you revert back to 5.12.17

Ok bro! Try this! Install TWRP! Boot into TWRP! Go to wipe-> Advanced Wipe -> Wipe Data ->Wipe Cache -> Wipe Dalvik Go back to Wipe -> Full Wipe NOW REBOOT RECOVERY! Now install xiaomi.eu rom zip! Hope this works! I too faced similar problem! This helped me out!
