Haha that's the thing. It is not due to zip queue. It is due to flashing a rom, a big wipe to the storage, and causes inconsistency between twrp, dalvik virtual machine or something. Based on my understanding twrp is ram based, it should not be affected by changes in storage. But who knows...

Okay i will now use this method to see if it can avoid the problem. Hope that it is just due to bugs in zip queue. But it is worrying because it might be an indication of corruption somewhere.

I had the same problem on mi max pro which scares me the hell out it which forces me to downgrade back to 6.7.21. Please confirm that the problem only happen when you are using stock file 'Explorer'. If you use any other file explorer it does not happen.

Updated my mimax pro using the modified 'updater-script'. Everything went smoothly. But realized the stock 'explorer' is not showing the folder name correctly. Using other explorers seems to show correctly as before. Have wiped cache and dalvik after rom install. Worry if there is corruption...
