HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

Whenever I restart my RN13P, it reverts to the default theme (including the wallpaper). I use iLimitless with a custom wallpaper. It's infuriating. Is this bug specific to this model? Also, is it likely that the slow launch speed and sluggishness of apps such as FairEmail will be resolved...

HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

I'm glad it's not just me then. I came straight from the official global ROM with MIUI 14 to .eu stable HyperOS. The issue wasn't present in the global ROM. I'm not sure if it was present in .eu MIUI 14. I noticed that Garnet doesn't appear to be receiving HyperOS weeklies, which is...

HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

I'm finding that FairEmail takes a good couple of seconds to launch on my Redmi Note 13 Pro (Garnet). This isn't the case on other phones I have. I installed Aqua Mail and it launches instantaneously. Even if I launch FairEmail, press the home key, and then press the icon again (so it's already...

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

It's worth noting that for the Redmi Note 13 Pro (garnet), there's no mobile signal in xiaomi.eu MIUI 14 or HyperOS 1.0 until the global firmware is flashed in TWRP (https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/garnet). That's coming straight from the official global ROM with mobile signal...

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

I'm using 30-1. I think I tried 29-01 though. They both worked. If they're the same build as yours, why do they have different file names?

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

Thanks for the reply. I ended up flashing TWRP from https://www.pling.com/p/2125614 and the touch screen worked fine.

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

I just unlocked my Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G (garnet). I first flashed TWRP from https://sourceforge.net/projects/recovery-for-xiaomi-devices/files/garnet using fastboot flash recovery_ab recovery.img, as advised in https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/installing-a-custom-recovery.67841. The touch...

    HyperOS 1.0 23.12.11/13

I asked earlier but didn't receive a response. Can someone please advise whether HyperOS still allows one to use the classic style quick settings as opposed to the more iOS look? Also, is it still possible to have horizontal recent apps, rather than vertical?

    HyperOS 1.0 23.12.11/13

I haven't got a device that supports HyperOS yet, but can someone advise whether it's still possible to switch to the classic style quick settings? Also, there are apparently differences between MIUI on a Xiaomi or Redmi and MIUI on a Poco. I'm not exactly sure what the differences are, but...

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

The weekly .eu builds are based on the China beta builds though, right? And Xiaomi only releases those for a small number of devices. The rest are based on stable and have updates less frequently.

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

That's the China stable ROM, not a weekly beta. I'm not sure why I'd install that instead of the global ROM or .eu.

MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

I'm thinking about purchasing a 12X. I was surprised to see that it hasn't received betas for months and I'm also surprised by how few phones receive weekly updates now. I realise that's Xiaomi's decision rather than the .eu devs. It's been a couple of years since I owned a Xiaomi. Anyway, can...

Will the Mi 11 Lite 4G get weekly ROMs?

I meant that only Xiaomi could understand its strange decisions.

Will the Mi 11 Lite 4G get weekly ROMs?

I'm just curious as to why Xiaomi would have weeklies for one and not the other, given they're similar models. I imagine you don't know. :)

Will the Mi 11 Lite 4G get weekly ROMs?

The Mi 11 Lite 5G receives weekly builds, but the Mi 11 Lite 4G doesn't. Why is this and will the 4G variant receive weeklies one day?

    MIUI 11.2 20.2.27

I bought the RN7P because I wanted a Xiaomi phone with weekly updates due to my Poco only being on the stable channel. I've never had so few updates on a mobile phone. Even the Poco is running Android 10. As you say, if Android 10 isn't ready, at least provide patches. Xiaomi is a joke.

    MIUI 11.2 20.2.20 v2

Their update policy is transparent though; monthly patches for six months and then alternate months for another 18 months.

    MIUI 11.2 20.2.20 v2

Yep. I've got a Realme 5 Pro as well. The camera is slightly better and it receives monthly updates, including Android 10 in two weeks. I'll give Realme my money from now on.

    MIUI 11.2 20.1.16/21 v3

People's health is more important than phone updates. That said, it's interesting that Realme, another Chinese company, has not only continued to release monthly patches, but it's also continued to roll out the major Realme UI update with Android 10 during this period. I also like how it...
