Hello friends, I have redmi 4x, I updated it to Global stable miui 9 with updater app. Now I installed twrp and root. I am thinking whether I should convert it into developer (weekly) rom or not. Also can I use recovery to directly install weekly rom there? I don't want to lose my data inside...

I am not sure it is a bug or not but, I realized that, when shut my phone (Redmi 4x Global) and turn on again, it won't work only first time. I need to unlock it with password and fingerprint works next trials. Miui version; 9.1

Hi, after I updated my phone, it couldn't connect mobile data but I don't know whether this is because update or root. But any help? I tried lots of solution (reset apn, wipe dalvik, cache, security app etc)

yeah through fastboot. and cofface twrp 3.0. fastboot recovery twrp.img it was a command like this. I know how to do cuz I did before. If I find redmi 3 users, I will ask, thanks.

I am sorry but I don't know which version of Miui I'm using. As far as I know official global and weekly updated rom is installed on device. And Although I tried lots of times to install twrp and root, I got nothing though everhthing done errorrless.

It says MIUI 8 global in about menu. And I could get the weekly updates. I assume it is dev global rom.
