OK then - but the OP was talking about 1.0.14.0.UNCEUXM, which is the official EEA fw for the Global Xiaomi 14. AA does not work on stock ROM - at least on some cars - and I have verified this myself.

That's great to hear - I assume you're talking about the official Ultra Global / EEA fw, not about Xiaomi.EU. If so, let's hope they fix it on the small Xiaomi 14 as well.

Yes, but the latest version is a little old by now (Feb.?). To deal with background processes manage apps individually; or disably the miui management app [com.miui.powerkeeper]; or disable system optimizations from Developer settings. My impression was that the AA stub is installed by default...

From my experience the CN (X14) and EEA (X13) often get small updates every 3-4 months - with the general update.

Yes, afaiac this is the only serious minus. It's not tragic, since you can still use BT to share audio / phone calls and navigation apps on the phone, but it's a pity. Unless you get a car with CarWith... The irony is that, as reported here and elsewhere, on quite a few cars AA does not yet...

Do you know more specifically what "system optimization" does? I see warnings that turning it off might disrupt system functions / default apps.

Unfortunately, same problem here. Android auto does not work. Works with literally 6 other phones, including Xiaomi 13

Just to be clear... I assume you mean to say they are working with xiaomi.eu, not the China ROM. Android Auto does not work with the latter, but pretty much everythinbg except for Nearby Share does. Of course, the problem is right now one cannot unlock without going down a risky and costly route.
