Try to download it from a PC, test the integrity of the zip file and out it on your phone (internal or sd storage) and then try again.

I miss the possibility to select apps that do not spend our data plan (i have a phone pack plan that offers Facebook and messenger data)...is it possible to add that again?

That's not what i wanted... Before there were an option to select the apps that would have internet acess, but data usage wasn't accountable to my internet plan (free navigation)...

My redmi had a vendor ROM. The unlock bootloader was unofficial. Use your mi account to ask for unlock authorization from offical site. You will get a SMS with a code to confirm your request. After that, wait a few days to get the SMS with permition. You must install latest official development...
