my Note 7 is encrypted after formatting data and reinstall the "xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote7_20.5.21_v12-10.zip" rom. Check your status under "privacy" or use ADB: adb shell getprop ro.*****.state

Seems you "data" partition is no more encrypted. Have you flashed something like "Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt.zip"? I was in the same situation and eventually forced to format (not only wipe) "data" and let the OS encrypt it after reboot, to get the fingerprint option back.

Miui 12 is not really ready yet for Lavender, additionally device doesn't enter "deep-sleep", therefore the battery drain. But its just a first Beta, I'm sure, things will improve... :)

Same here. Lost almost 10% battery over night, even though the phone was 7 hours in flight-mode. I've "dirty flashed" like you, but I'm too lazy to check the battery drain with a "wiped" phone...

Same problem here. (xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote7_V11.0.4.0.PFGCNXM_v11-9.) Password/pattern not accepted. Tried wiping caches, flashed the ROM (and 11.0.3) again via Orangefox. But no success, I have to delete "/data/system/locksettings.db ", like the OP. Any ideas?

Not fixed in my case (Note 7 - Miui 11 | 9.9.2.6). Still no notifications icons... (not even the ones which disappeared after one second) EDIT: forgot to enable notifications...

Usually, you can't boot into the "internal/integrated recovery" from fastboot with this commands. You need an "external" twrp.img file on your PC, which is loaded, when you execute "fastboot boot twrp.img" The boot.img was replaced, because the original "boot.img" from the Chinese Rom...

you need to replace (1) is a .tgz file (2) is a .zip You have to replace "boot.img" + "recovery.img" in (1) If you flash via edl mode, there is no MD5 check.

It's just a "proof of concept", so before you flash other custom ROMs, than the Xiaomi.eu ones: Always wipe "data, cache, dalvik, system" from TWRP!

You don't need to unlock the bootloader, to flash Custom Roms, or do Nandroid Backups!
