[GUIDE][venus|star|mars] How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Xiaomi MI11 / Pro / Ultra

Hey @ingbrzy, thanks for providing the TWRP for this device. I tried to find more information where this was coming from and only found a discussion on xda-developers. Do you have more insigts? Are there any source file to compile the TWRP by our own? Thanks for your hard work!

New Mi 9 SE - default language chinese & installed TWRP overwritten without notice

With the 9.10.24 weekly ROM for Mi 9 SE a TWRP was included. This TWRP overwrites the already installed TWRP without notice :-/ Additionally the shipped TWRP by wxz comes with chinese language as default language - no matter what language was selected before. If you are not able to read chinese...

    9.6.27

I can confirm - there seems to be some devices that are encrypted and some does'nt. I do use the same manual/script replaced fstab for my Mi MIX2 - but that's nothing to expect from technically inexperienced people in the regular weekly updates.

    9.6.27

Hey pittrich67, not unencrypted is that important in my question - the complete oposite is what should be achieved. (also to follow android security guidelines) Devices should be encrypted by default. This is also the case if you use the original Xiaomi global ROMs - storage is encrypted by...

    9.6.27

@graw2 & @ingbrzy xiaomi.eu ROMs seem to modify fstab by default to disable forcencryption Is that done by intention? Tested with latest weekly ROMs for Mi MIX 2 and Redmi Note 6 Pro - maybe others are affected to. I've written a script for Mi MIX2 to enable encryption again and to follow...

I think they set both mount point to the same partition within fstab. TWRP is limited to connect only one mount point to a partition. There are several possible reasons to leave the possibility active to mount two different mount points to one partition - the common one is to keep compatibility...

    9.2.28/9.3.1

I also have higher battery consumption with the latest xiaomi.eu ROM as well as with 9.2.21 on my Mi MIX 2. There are many user reports here that indicate that this is a general problem with the last two ROM versions for different Xiaomi devices. @graw2 @ingbrzy I assume this problem could only...

    8.12.20

Noticed some differences between xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix2_8.12.13_v10-8.0 and xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix2_8.12.20_v10-8.0 in file that contain commands for handling system apps (META-INF\com\xiaomieu\xiaomieu.sh). More important: In xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix2_8.12.13_v10-8.0 much more important partitions...

Latest Mi MIX 2 ROM leads to frequent, spontaneous reboots and today one device shutdown. Anyone else with that problem?

    8.10.18

... are you sure it is enabled for all devices? I've to run an encryption enable script every week for my Mi MIX 2 when using a ROM from xiaomi.eu. If i don't use the script then android got stuck on boot because of the fstab - it leads android to load /data as unencrypted volume only.
