I've tried 16.0 and 16.7 on my Mix2 on 8.8.3 (and older) but just get a bootloop. It displays the mix logo and powered by android indefinitely.

Which version of root does work with Miui 10? If i try to install magisk I just get bootloops?

Yeah You're right. Here's whats happenening: If you try to install the update via the updater-app the phone asks you to restart the phone to finish installation. Then it offers a restart button. Press the button and you will reboot into TWRP. and then... nothing happens. no OpenRecoveryScript...

Also if you want to install it manually via TWRP it stops, saying the file is corupted. Tried both sources. Also on Mi5
