    I installed it yesterday in the evening. Haven't got the time to dig around very much, but so far everything seems OK. I only wiped cache & dalvik aftrer installation.

    It is not necessary to install the twrp permanently, you can only boot the image to install the firmware.

    Yes, I have such problem sometimes. During call the screen remains active and I press random things with my ear. According the changelog the new update 11.0.7 fixes this issue.

    I tried from the update app, but when I choose to install the update, it only reastarts the phone and nothing happens.

    Guys, I am trying to update to the new version 11.0.7. The problem is that when I boot to TWRP I cannot see the zip file with the rom (I guess that the storage is encrypted). Is there any solution for this problem? Or can I install it via the stock recovery?

    I have Redmi Note 5 (whyred), currently running weekly MIUI 12 (20.6.18). Will it be safe if I install the stable MIUI 11, as it will be a downgrade? Is it possible to brick my device because of the rollback protection?

    Just dial this code: *#*#86583#*#* You will see a message like "Operator check DISABLED". Then go and try to enable VOLTE. It worked for me.

    I already solved my problem. Just made a reset of the camera, then added it again in Mi Home and now the picture is perfect as usual.
