After trying a A14 port with ext4 file i am now revert back to old stable miui rom . Is fs2s the correct file format? When i copy the rom to storage after formatting, i found the rom under media in system root instead of sdcard.

On F3 i formatted and flashed Stable rom and no longer have navigation app problems.

On Poco F3, if i downgrade to Stable Rom with format will i have the same location and navigation app problems that i have with Weekly Roms ?

On F3 , once again after flashing and everything smooth, i rebooted into twrp (ver 6.3) and automatic script occured . The last few weeks weekly rom did not do this, so now after every reboot to recovery it flashes the rom automatically.

I already have twrp permanently installed and run weekly rom since the beginning, so if i needed an arrogant answer from a developer instead of just a MEMBER, i would have asked. I was just asking to determine if this new version 6.3 is an update zip or do i need to start from scratch and boot...

It used to be that there was only ONE twrp recovery and Orangefox came along to help out. We were notified if a new version came out to make an upgrade but now there are too many versions of the same software in use and nobody can follow them all to know which is the right one to get the job...

I also have this problem on F3. No matter how many times i reboot into recovery, it flashes automatic script again. Have latest 5.6 version of twrp.

On Poco F3, after dirty flash, is it at all necessary to wipe dalvik cache anymore ?

Regarding format data on Alioth, is it prudent to format both slots since there is old data on the one not in use and then what is the procedure to format one or both slots before flashing a new rom?

Your downloaded recovery file is already an .img file, therefore when renaming your file, keep it as short as possible to avoid mistakes. Rename it to twrp that is all that is needed to get the job done, When you get to the cmd part of the process then you type the full file name twrp.img before...
