    Ginkgo: 500MB 'extm_file' in /data/extm

Hello, anyone else having this 'extm_file' in folder /data/extm ? Even if I delete the folder 'extm' itself, it gets recreated each time the phone is rebooted. It's not only because of (possible) wasted 500MB, it's mainly because the nandroid backups fail due to this file. Thanks. (Redmi Note 8...

    MIUI 12.1 20.8.6/7

Hello all, I have a recently unlocked and rooted Ginkgo. Just installed the "xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote8_20.8.6_v12-10.zip", installed all my apps, and everything's working fine... until I tried to make the first backup via Orange Fox Recovery. The backup fails in error and after looking at the log...

    9.4.11/12

Hello, help regarding Redmi Note 5 Pro (whyred). - If I install the version of Magisk 18.1 it simply does not root - If I install the version 19.0, a couple of seconds after booting, the phone reboots. Do you have the same issue ? Thanks.

    9.3.28

I have a Redmi Note 5 Pro (whyred), please let me know if you have the same issues: I've updated my whyred to this latest 9.3.28 version and I'm having issues with the apps which I choose to have no battery optimization. I select some apps not to be optimized and a couple of hours later, they...

    8.9.6

Please, to the Whyred owners who have flashed this version: can anyone confirm if this 8.9.6 is ARB free ? Thanks.

    8.9.6

Thanks a lot. I won't flash this version in my Whyred then. Having that folder "firmware-update" in the zip file gave me the creeps. My Whyred is ARB free and I want to keep it that way.

    8.9.6

Please, for someone that has already flashed this version in an Whyred, can you tell if this version is ARB free ? This zip file has a "firmware-update" folder in it. That's the reason of my concern. Thanks a million.

    8.9.6

I have an Whyred and I see that this file has a folder named "firmware-update". Guess this will trigger the rollback protection. Can I just delete the "firmware-update" folder from the zip file ? Thanks.

    8.8.16

Hello Igor, This is a long shot, but just in case there's some code hidden for it also: it's about the notification reminder for text messages. We have it for phone calls but not existing for text messages. Right now I'm using the "Missed Notifications Reminder" for that purpose, but it would be...

Is the RAM/Battery management tweaked in this ROM?

Yes (forgot to mention that) I locked the app in recents page. If I reboot the phone or if "something else happens that I don't know what it could be", it's bye bye to the App: the Process is still active but the Service is gone. Thanks anyhow ;)
