    The problem I am reporting is exactly that, I can't do it via updater because it reboots and does not install it, I had to do it using twrp.

    Thanks for the response. I did it again using twrp, but is kind of annoying having tom do it if it happens on every update, I dont know how the updater is not working properly.

    Hello guys, I have the version 8.8.16 installed on my MI 8 SE, I want to install this version via updater but when I click install it reboots the smartphone but doesnt install the update. Can somebody help me please?

    Sorry, forget about the previous comment. Will try the 8.7.5 version. Even the weekly versions (like the 8.7.5) will have OTA right? If I choose to update from the 8.7.5 version to the newest that means I will get the bootloop again? Thank you. Best Regards

    Please can you provide the boot.img file? I am also with the boot loop issue. Can I install it with the twrp?
