Mi 8 Re-lock bootloader

Hello Guys, I have a Xiaomi MI 8 Global Version with the Miui 10 Global Stable room. I would like to switch to the Miui 10 Global Beta. Its possible, without unlocking the boot loader ? If i unlock the boot loader, can i lock it again ? Thank You.
