    [Mi 8] Can't fastboot, no fast charge, no usb connection, sensors don't work

    I couldnt get my main pc to recognise the phone either, but for me, it turned out that the issue was with Windows 10 it self as I couldnt get fastboot drivers to work. I installed Windows 7 on a laptop and it instantly worked, both for unlocking the device and to install twrp.

    Ok Google still doesnt work, but update does come with night mode for camera.

    Does this mean that I dont need to go through hole process of fastboot and wipeing the phone for each update even when using custom rom?

    I Cant unlock

    Run CMD and when you plug your device into PC with fastboot activated type in CMD fastboot devices. Do this three times. If your pc detects your phone on first command and does ????? on and third if there is blank space, it would mean that your phones drivers are the issue.

    Im using the stable EU rom for the Explorer Edition based on 8.1 and having the same issues as you.

    The Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 EE use different software so it cant be ported over.

    Xiaomi has just launched the Mi8 Pro in the UK with their live launch, as for when the official rom becomes available, I dont know.

    Im trying to sign in and sync my google contacts to the google contacts app but it wont sign in to my existing account on my phone, what am I doing wrong? Ive already deleted the account, singed out and back in.

    TWRP Your system has been destroyed message

    Ive unlocked the device, installed the ADB drivers but when I try and flash the TWRP the phones comes up with "Your system has been destroyed". What am I doing wrong? Thanks

    Dont want to create another threat, but now that I have my phone unlocked, ive downloaded the rom but I have no idea which TWRP Recovery Zip to download. Cant find the Ursa version for the Mi 8 Explorer Edition. Thanks

    Wish I could install the EU rom, cant get past unlocking bootloader. Gets stuck at 50% and cant verify.
