Issues with versions beyond 9.4.26

Hi as per title whenever I upgrade past version 9.4.26 I stop receiving SMS and phone calls Its a weird issue, everything else works, Just not sms and calls Anyone else experience this? I always end up formatting phone and rolling back to 9.4.26
