    Just updated magisk manager to 8.0.7 and magisk to 21.4 and everything is ok with 21.1.13/14 beta (mi9). Magisk hide active, hide magisk manager with name change is not active. P.S. Made full magisk uninstall and clean install of magisk.

    I use a lot of magisk modules and they all support Android q, just check the prerecvisits and release date. But there always a risk I use magisk recovery module, to disable modules from TWRP. I think I had a bootloop 2 or 3 times since Android q release, one of them with the same module you had

    You have to press power vol up/down when your device is off and release it after it on, may be that's the problem, because i have similar behavior when i don't release the buttons, but it just reboots, not going to system. If you really have a hardbrick, the only option as i understand is EDL...

    This happens when you have bad modules. Just install magisk then flash magisk recovery module and check if you have modules except of recovery module. If you do just disable them.

    Usually this happens because of some magisk modules. May be you had magisk before and magisk modules still there. If so, the solution is to install magisk recovery module and disable/delete all modules using magisk recovery module from TWRP.
