Good update & clean install from A10 to A11/12.5 on Mi 9 Lite. Did a full twrp backup beforehand, but not needed. Just a couple of bumpy reboots after flashing Magisk 21.2. Otherwise, smooth restoration of apps. Time for a Gin & tonic, and a donation on its way right now. Thanks a lot.

The command to go from fastboot to recovery is: fastboot oem reboot-recovery

The previous Miui 11 drop down toolbar can be restored by going to settings: notch & status bar, then de-select 'control panel'
