Do CustoMIUIzer "mods" work at 12.5 (if anyone is using it) ?

So miui 12.5 update came out for mix 3 and I am at miui 12 stable, but do you have any idea why it is not available through OTA in the settings ??

That's an option yes, I switched to stable when beta stopped but lost some features. Now system apps got updated and security update is of december 2020. But you may still lose some features if you update. For example if you go to additional settings the icons of the settings are gone and...

New update for mi mix 3 came out that has some apps updated

I had disabled health app but I re-enabled it to try this and I was able to update to the second newest apk version (Mi Health 2.11.12, 2nd because the 1st isn't supported by the cpu architecture). I can upgrade however plenty of other system apps through system app updater app.
