Updated Ishtar on my 13 Ultra Global via USB/Fastboot; it worked fine from the word go, with no crashes, etc., as I had on last week's build, which was resolved with the ADB commands easily enough. Thanks devs.

What do you use for backup? I lost the icon arrangement last update, and would like to avoid it again.

It looks like Google are playing whack a mole with the fixes for safety net. I've not used xiaomi roms for that long, has that happened before? Don't bother fixing it for a few weeks/months until the heat dies down?

Isn't wiping Dalvik not recommended as it leads to a slower OS until the next ROM update?

Best option is to buy a watch with Google Wallet and NFC on it IMO. I'd never go back to stock ROM even if Gpay never works on Xiaomi EU ROMs again. They worked flawlessly for me since I started using them.

First world problems here. I'm using Ishtar on weekly ROM. Use my phone to pay some places, when cash is sadly less prevalent. But I will just wait for the next ROM and see what happens. Hardly a big inconvenience to carry some cards. Surprised people can be bothered formatting and going...

I have a Nilkin one which has a folding lens cover, adds some bulk to the phone but I like the feel and design of it. Photography case is my other that I use most often.

Bands are hardware related, not software.

I have a Mi 10 Pro CN Version, so have done without B20 for 3 years, it's liveable but I do notice it when in more rural areas, so would prefer the global. Not sure it worth the price difference though.

Did you end up buying it from somewhere?

Still the same problem for me on the latest release for Mi 10 Pro.
