The older TeamWin TWRP 'TWRP-miatoll-v2-31032021.zip' installed fine. I boot the TWRP rather than install, but that shouldn't make a diffrence. So I guess the newer version has something with system_ext or something changed with reading the partition structure that only a full format would fix.

Looking up error 7 thats the code for trying to install a rom thats not compatible. But I do have a Redmi Note 9 EU Joyus version.

With the teamwin TWRP I cant seem to mount the system_ext partition, tapping on it in mount does nothing. Using Pitchblack I have it installed I think (could just be updated the product info partition) but even that couldn't mount the patitions. Any ideas?

11.0.7 EU was uploaded 16 hours or so ago no fastboot version. The Xiaomi firmware updater website says it's based on the note 9 global stable beta recovery, no fastboot version yet as it's a stable beta. Still running 11.0.4 may look at the twrp posted and boot it from pc with the platform...

Go look at my post above. He has a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Merlin EU rom also known as the Redmi 10x. You can see that from his rom codename QJOEUXM which the link I posted is the official rom. Don't know if this EU site will eventually have a rom for Merlin devices they are pretty new it seems...

I see the 11.0.4 roms have been got a recent modified date on sourceforge with the fastboot one being modified and reappearing 5 hours ago. Any idea or a changelog since the ones uploaded at the start of the month?
