I see massive changes in smali\com\android\internal\util\HanziToPinyin.smali after ".method public static formatCharToT9" but a bit confuzed i must admit :confused:

I am having the same problems with the stock one. I'll be out of town for a couple of days, and i needed a stable phone. I have restored my 1.6.24 backup. I'll continue the tests when i'am back. Thanx

Unfortunately i got random reboots. I will revert to stock framework.jar, just to see if the problem is somewhere else. P.S. The modified framework.jar is about 75kb larger than the stock one. (stock is MIui-au 1.7.1). Is this ok? My many thanx again for your work ;)

Just tested it after an upgrade to 1.7.1 and it works like a charm. It has a different layout than Dialer One. Dialer's one layout is like this What is the layout now? I may be doing a png... Thanx again!

Managed to boot after 20minutes, but got constant FC's on application launcher. I guess i have to upgrade to 1.7.1. Many thanx for your efforts ;)

Hello there mate!! Does this work only on 1.7.1? I have tested this on 1.6.24, and the phone does not finish its booting. (greek package) My regards. :)
