You're so lucky without getting freeze screen on that one, many reports of it in the telegram and next version was pushed but it get worse since then, and even "no MIUI support" as of now

Redmi 9T doesnt have a perfectly working twrp on A12, the 3 version provided here doesnt support MIUI as stated on the maintainer telegram, none of them ever show any PIN screen to begin with. A return code of anything other than 0 deemed to be error, i dont want a brick to be my work phone.

the file is on sdcard since the internal storage is encrypted and cant be read from twrp. you havent seen the first pic since it states the location of the update is on sdcard1.

that updated one wasnt working on my redmi 9t, doesnt load the pin lock so the partition info would be loaded, so, i cant even proceed to flash to rom. reflash the recovery twice, didnt work either.

It will boot just fine. The XIAOMI screen with and unlocked lock and "Powered by android" was just not there. Wait 2 minutes and the MIUI booting animation will start its first run. And i'm in the middle of it now.

its an useful feature. it acts like a hardware id, but you can opt to let an app to read that, or just plain string of "0", you can even reset it. it is a part of how dual app could work, the system return different "id" for each clone and so on.

HerH2 is kinda abandoning the twrp for this device by the look on XDA thread, even people still report problems for it. So, i will wait for another version that works

which is rather unfortunately, it failed on the courbet device i helped to install xiaomi.eu rom, and i need to find another one. It failed on: - formatting data, stucking without anything done. - flashing rom from sdcard, it unmount the sdcard itself, cancel the flashing altogether.

So, 4 patches and counting for the fix.
