Thank you for the reply. With similar setup, the battery life was better previously. I am making rounds of settings and security apps to find a culprit for the poor battery life. No luck so far. Android system is sucking a lot of juice on this beta. Don't know how to minimize its impact.

Well, the battery drain is back with this beta (Mi 11 ultra). The earlier two betas before this one were great from a battery point of view.

I am wondering and googling a way to add the ability to launch a custom app to the slide up gesture on homescreen. I want to be able to launch Sesame instead of the Google or Global search from Xiaomi. Is there a way for it without third party launchers and rooting? Regards
