I purposely switched to .eu rom because google services refused to run on the Chinese ROM. Fixed it by reflashing boot tho.

Using a mi 8 lite with latest 12.5.1 Rom, when I exit ultra power save mode, I get notifications that Google play services is off and it needs to be started. When I click on it, I get sent to the settings page where I can manage Google play services but there's no "enable" option so I gotta...

And sidenote, I should still be able to receive OTA updates, and OrangeFox should be able to work with the Updater app to install the update since I'm not using TWRP right?

So to install orangefox, I go into TWRP, install the zip, and then do I need to manually remove the TWRP folder on my phone's flash to prevent issues with both being installed? (sorry for sending again, couldn't figure out how to delete above post or fix it)

Ayyy ROM reflash fixed it! All my data looks intact too. For anyone happening to stumble upon this thread, just reflash your ROM and it should (in my case at least) be fixed with no data loss.

I used 23.0, it's been out for a few months now so fairly stable: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/tag/v23.0 So just copy rom over and install? No need to erase /data or anything?

(I also tried flashing stock boot.img from the rom in fastboot to replace magisk patched one, didn't help)
