Worked like a charm after reading carefully through your explanations! First I downloaded the wrong twrp. After not having to type in my code I downloaded the right version: [BOOT]3.6.2_12-Mi11Ultra-Mi11Pro_v5.6_A12-star-skkk_016c95cb.zip for my Mi 11 Pro. Thx again for the great work!

I had the same problems with W11 and installed W10 again. Now everything works fine.

Disable automatic brightness and activate sunlight mode. That fixed it on my 11 Pro

I know - but I think this text is only copy/paste because there were some devices that got MIUI13 on a Android 11 base! So there was no problem to update with update.bat. This was not valid for mars/star b/c they got MIUI13 on a regular Android 12 base from the beginning.

Correct me if Im wrong, but I thought you need to use "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat" when coming from 12 to 13! You can only use "windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat" in between a version, f.e. if you want to update 13.0.9.0 to 13.0.10.0!
