I have read through the link and could see suggestion on flashing the patched boot file via fastboot command line. The method I described is, replacing the original boot.img file with the patched boot.img in to the zip file with the help of 7z application. Now the flashable ROM become rooted...

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

Just would like to share how I keep root maintained during flashing. I have been doing this on every update flash. Before flashing the new update, I take boot.img from the zip file and patch it with magisk. Rename the patched boot file to boot.img and copy it back to the zipped file. I use 7z...

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

All worked. Found the issue. I downloaded on to the phone and transferred to my PC. It seems there was an issue in the download. I identified it by unzipping the Zip file downloaded in my phone directly which cause error in unzipped. This proves to me that the download was an issue. I...

MIUI 13 MIUI 13 STABLE RELEASE

I cannot see bat file inside ROM zip to flash this update via fastboot. However, I could boot in to TWRP recovery and decrypt password to get to system files. Does it mean that I can flash this update via TWRP. My device details: Xiaomi 12 Pro running on Android 12 (i.e MIUI 13.0.36 which...

    MIUI 12.2 20.10.15/16

//ATTENTION FOR Mi 10 Pro users: after update to 20.10.15 DON'T RUN YOUR CURRENT TWRP! Xiaomi has changed the kernel code. If you boot to TWRP after this update, your phone will turn off and there's no possibility to boot to system or recovery anymore! Only way to run TWRP is flash it and boot...

    MIUI 12.2 20.10.15/16

Good to know that we can boot to TWRP via fastboot command. Few things I want to know, 1. Can it boot into TWRP and encrypt successfully or should we have to passwords and fingerprint before attempting to boot to TWRP. 2. Can we flash magisk after blotting to TWRP via fastboot command. Thanks.

    MIUI 12.2 20.10.15/16

Thanks for the new release. My decide is Mi10 Pro. I was very much interested to move from 24th September release to 15th October. But, as the kernel is changed and I can't boot to TWRP them there is no point updating my ROM to this version. I surely need to boot to TWRP to flash magisk root...

    MIUI 11.1 9.9.26/27 v2 - MIUI 11

Amazingly super smooth. I am using with my Mi9 Pro. One missing stuff I noticed is the option to have custom DNS under Private DNS settings. Systemwide Private DNS settings was so good in Android Pie.
