Ahh I see. I ask because the EU ROM uses the China version as a base right? So even if MIUI sees it as a global ROM has any sort of testing been done to see if sensitive information is being sent? Does the global ROM not send any sensitive information to Xiaomi or other third parties?

Does the EU ROM address the privacy issues brought up by this study? https://arxiv.org/abs/2302.01890 I understand that EU is a custom ROM with less bloat than the global version but do the developers of this ROM stop the phone from sending sensitive info to Xiaomi servers?

Hello everyone, If I install miui 13 stable will I eventually get the ability to update to miui 14 stable by simply updating the phone (like what happens when you're using the original manufacturer rom)? Or will I have to do a clean install? I'm currently using an AOSP android 11 rom on my F3...
